Mezenet celebrates business award

 “At Mezenet Solutions Ltd we are proud of our commitment to the local community. We have an “affinity partnership” programme that helps charities and clubs raise much needed funds. The current climate makes it very difficult for local charities and clubs to raise the funds they need to carry on their excellent work. So this is where we come in. There are many such schemes run by different types of organisations e.g. Visa Cards supporting the National Trust. Two parties enter in to an agreement whereby one party introduces possible clients (the charity or club) to the other party (in this case Mezenet Solutions Ltd). An agreed part of the commission earned by Mezenet from these introductions is than passed over to the charity or club as a donation on a regular basis. It’s that simple.

In 2005, Mezenet Solutions Ltd was recognised for its work in the community by being honoured with an award at the first Burton-on-Trent business ceremony hosted by Central Telecom and The Burton Mail. The award ceremony was held at the Burton Albion Football Club’s Pirelli Stadium on the 20th of January 2006. The presenter of the awards, the BBC’s Kaye Alexander, presented David Smith from Mezenet Solutions Ltd with a Highly Commended “Business in the Community” award. We were up against the likes of Trent & Dove Housing and it proved a most enjoyable night.

Our commitment to community projects lives on and we hope to emulate this success at future award ceremonies.”
